SEALY — The Sealy Spring Festevil will spring to life on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The 2023 Spring Festival will feature Easter activities, including an Easter egg roll, egg toss competition and a Victorian Easter tea party for the kids. As always, there will be great entertainment for the adults as well, including performances by the Will Carter Band, Brown Sugar Band, and The Texas Theatre Company.
Games will include a hula hoop competition, hoop and stick races, treasure hunt, and train rides. Antique cars and antique quilts will be on display. Additionally, all of the buildings at the Sealy Historical Park will be open for tours, including the 1927 caboose, the 1887 Sealy Jail, the 1880 Hackbarth House, and the main museum housed in The Sealy News building dating to 1900.
Vendors will offer hand-crafted and home-grown items, including preserved foods, baked goods, crocheted items, clothing and jewelry. Come early to find the best items at the Bluebonnet Master Gardeners’ annual plant sale and the Sealy Area Historical Society’s bake sale.
