Hallettsville KC State Championship Domino Tournament Wild Game Supper to be held

HALLETTSVILLE – The Hallettsville KC 70th Texas State Championship Domino Tournament will be held Sunday, Jan. 15 and the annual Wild Games Supper Saturday, Jan. 28 at the KC Hall in Hallettsville.

HALLETTSVILLE — The Hallettsville KC 70th Texas State Championship Domino Tournament will be held Sunday, Jan. 15 and the annual Wild Games Supper Saturday, Jan. 28 at the KC Hall in Hallettsville.

The domino tournament registration will begin at 7 a.m. and play will begin at 9 a.m. sharp.

A consolation tournament will be held immediately for the first two setting of losers with two plaques given the winners of the consolation tournament plus cash.

A barbecue chicken lunch will be served at the hall and also there will be plates-to-go at the drive-thru. Short orders and refreshments will be served during the tournament.

Come join in the official Tex as State Domino Championship Tournament play where there is no better competition and fellowship. You can boast you played in the Texas State Championship Domino Tournament. You and your partner may even have the honor of winning this prestigious title.

This years Texas Dominio Hall of Fame inductees will be David Scott Henke, Joe Buzek, Sammy Judd and David “Rat” Schautteet.

A group of younger domino players will be coming in from Killeen, looking for a challenge.

The doors will open at 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28 for the Wild Game Supper and serving will be held from 5:30 to 11 p.m.

The menu will have an abundance of expertly prepared craw- fish, deer, hog, dove, wild rice, duck gumbo, Lavaca County Sausage, wild pinto beans, all marinated and prepared by head cook Richard Henke and Lavaca County prestigious wild game chefs.

Need a new 4X4 Ranger or gun? Drawings for guns and Ranger will be held Saturday night, Jan. 28. Tickets are available at Hoffers Drive-in-Gro, Rainosek’s True Value, and at the KC Hall now and on Saturday, Jan. 28. See this year’s fantastic results of the Big Buck Contest.

Come be a winner of the big guns drawing and a Ranger drawing, along with other prizes. Total value over $50,000. See and talk to the folks that got the big bucks and the commercial displays. Get into a game of dominoes or just visit with the folks.

Enjoy the fellowship of old friends and new acquaintances. Admission is $12 and will include the wild game supper and hall admission.
