First baby for 2023 at Columbus Community Hospital

Alayah Zumoff, held by her mother, Kayla Carlton, makes her appearance on Jan. 3 at 5:23 p.m. at the Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus. This earns her the distinction of being the first baby born in 2023 in the tri-county area. She weighed 7 pounds and measured 18.8 inches in length.
