The Cardinals baseball team has continued their victorius ways as they’ve won eight of their last nine games, capturing seven in a row. Three of the wins have been shutouts and one of the wins came against Rice Consolidat- ed by a final score of 21-1.
Columbus has hitting, pitching, and coaching that can lead them to the top of the totem pole as they were a solid team last year as well. Columbus is also known for hosting high-caliber athletic programs, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this team make a run past the regular season. They also have players who play completive summer ball.
Whenever you’re up against the red and white and their mascot is the Cardinals from Columbus, you better bring your A game.
