Your gardens have been waiting for the CGC Plant Sale

COLUMBUS – Your landscaping needs are unique to your yard depending on whether you have lots of sun or lots of shade. You may want your landscaping to include plants for pollinators. Or you may want plants that will come back year after year. That certainly can help the cost of planting each year.

COLUMBUS — Your landscaping needs are unique to your yard depending on whether you have lots of sun or lots of shade. You may want your landscaping to include plants for pollinators. Or you may want plants that will come back year after year. That certainly can help the cost of planting each year.

Whatever your needs are you will find just what you are look ing for at the Columbus Garden Club Plant Sale on Saturday, April 29 at Brookshire Brothers in Columbus. The club has been doing this for over 30 years and people look forward to getting just what they need to add color to their yards.

The sale begins Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Come early as many regular customers know the very best plants get bought right away.

And you will want time to talk to the garden club members about the different plants you will find at the sale. Garden club members have been gardening for a very long time. Many plants are ones you will not find at the local nurseries.

They are ones that you may remember in your grandmother’s garden.

Also, you will find home- baked cakes, pies and cookies that you simply cannot resist.

And for the last couple of years, some of the best cooks in Columbus have been making frozen casseroles that you can take home and pop into the oven after your busy day shopping for beautiful plants.

Come by Brookshire Brothers in Columbus on Saturday morning, April 29 for a fun experience and a great time enjoying talking about plants and gardening with the ladies of the garden club.
