Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that on April 10, at approximately 9:15 p.m.,
Deputy Seth Nagel observed a vehicle leaving a gas station in the 1800 block of West Travis Street in La Grange.
The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle reportedly selling narcotics at the gas station per a Fayette County Narcotics Investigator.
The vehicle was displaying an expired registration tag. Deputy Nagel conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for this infraction.
When Deputy Nagel contacted the driver, he observed a smoked marijuana blunt in plain view.
The driver, who was identified as Damon Stewart of La Grange, admitted to the blunt containing marijuana.
A probable cause search was conducted and the following was located in the vehicle: -3.9 ounces of marijuana -33 grams of methamphet amine -17 grams of ecstasy -1 THC pen Stewart was arrested for the narcotics and charged with multiple drug offenses.
