EAGLE LAKE — The City of Eagle Lake is looking for the best bird photo around. It can be sitting or flying or in its natural habitat.
In fact, cash prizes go out to the Best Bird Portrait, Best Birds in Flight and Birds in their Natural Habitat categories.
The Best Bird Portrait is to capture the character images of the bird with lots of detail. The cash prize is $500 for First place.
The Best Bird in Flight uses imaginative motion or freezing the bird in flight. This is the Second place award and pays $250.
The Birds in their Habitat focuses on the connection between birds and their environment.
