BELLVILLE — Bellville is becoming known as the hot spot for fun times when anyone wants to get out and get going. This weekend is no exception when Fruehling Saengerfest kicks off on Sunday, April 23. The happenings takes place at Concordia Hall in Bellville.
Früehling Säengerfest means spring singer fest hosted by the Bellville Lions Club and the Bluebonnet Chapter of the Texas German Society. This charity event benefits both organizations in their fundraising efforts.
Come and enjoy barbecue chicken and sausage from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Listen to live music that may be reminiscent of the 1860s when it all began.
The Round Top Brass Band, the Bellville High School Polka Band, the Dujka Brothers and the Houston Liederkranz will provide the entertainment. Of course, there is a Bier Garten.
