Lady Horns softball has hung in nicely in 2023 with an overall record of 14-8 and 7-6 in district.
Schulenburg took down Flatonia at the beginning of the month by a score of 12-0, then recent ly beat Bloomington last Friday 19-1. The Lady Horns are led by head coach Gilbert Price, who also coaches football and has a great mind for sports. Schulen burg also possesses athletes on both sides of the ball and across the diamond.
Senior Brianna Vavra is known as one of their stronger pitchers and the hitting has been solid throughout the lineup with each player contributing. Look for Schulenburg to really make some noise in the later end of the season.
