COLUMBUS – As part of National Volunteer Week, Columbus Community Hospital recognizes its auxiliary volunteers who have donated more than 3,500 volunteer hours since May 2022.

Collectively, they have volunteered nearly 240,000 hours at the hospital since 1980.

“Our volunteers are an essential part of our team,” said Columbus Community Hospital CEO James Vanek. “We’re grate- ful for their time and selfless commitment to our hospital and community.”

Auxiliary volunteers provide important, nonmedical assistance for the hospital and help with a variety of patient and family support tasks, supplementing the hospital’s ability to provide care for the growing Columbus region.

Consider being a part of something great and rewarding.
