La Grange High School track runner Austen Diggs is known for his blazing speed and recently put it on display at the UIL 4A District 21/22 Area meet. As the meet was held on his home turf of La Grange, Diggs took first in both the 100 and 200 meter dash events.
He won the 100 meter with a time of 10.70 and the 200 with a 21.72. Diggs has been putting on these kind of performances throughout the season and it's very likely we'll see him qualify for the state track tournament at University of Texas in mid May.
