FC 4-H Compete in livestock judging contest

COMFORT – Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Kendall County Livestock Judging Contest on Jan. 8 Comfort.

COMFORT — Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Kendall County Livestock Judging Contest on Jan. 8 Comfort.

The Fayette County 4-H Junior Team placed second overall. Team members consisted of Kaisley Janecka, Alexis Berckenhoff, Adalyn Carrales, Kinley Kutac, Crockett Guenther, Abraham McBride, Rilan Karisch, Meredith Carruthers and Brylee Brugger. Individually, Janecka was second high point and Alexis Berckenhoff was seventh high point.

The Fayette County 4-H Intermediate Team placed third overall. Team members consisted of Kullen Kutac, Laramie Laake, Addison Berckenhoff, Rheagan Karisch, Julia Melton and Paige Carruthers. Individually, Kullen Kutac was nineth high point.

The Fayette County 4-H Senior Team placed 19th overall. Team members consisted of Karely Freytag, Kaelan Freytag and Peyton Gilchrest.
