Sidewalk project keeping steady pace

TxDOT is wasting no time in completing the sidewalk project in Columbus. The long stretch of newly poured concrete runs from Farm-to-Market 806 near the Columbus High School at Walnut Street frontage road and runs down the length of Walnut to the east river bridge. Not all the stretch will be new. TxDOT is revamping old sidewalks and installing handicap ramps
