BELLVILLE — It’s hats off as we celebrate moms and graduates at the Bellville Market Day & Farmers Market in downtown Bellville this Saturday, May 6 with with 140+ vendors total in the charming downtown area.
The Fresh Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. to noon under the Pavilion at Chesley Park. Bring a cooler to shop produce, meats, farm eggs, local honey, soaps, canned goods and so many fresh-baked sweets made by area bakers. Enjoy wine tastings, hot/ iced coffees and other samplings.
Enjoy fishing lure demonstra tions and order custom lures for upcoming summertime fishing and get tips from area growers and plant/herb nursery.
Just steps away or you can hitch a ride on the horse-drawn carriage to shop Bellville Market Day on the Square until 4 p.m.
Food trucks and booths will have barbecue, wood-fired pizza, roasted corn, street tacos, custom lemonades and our famous crispy sweet kettle corn is back! Enjoy fresh-baked desserts galore and various ice cream options for the kiddos. Adults can enjoy yummy selections of Boozy Ice Creams and other frozen concoctions, and wine tasting.
There’s music all day, face-painting, and Mother’s Day photo op. Among the variety of booths and 12 shops, find it all boutique clothing, Mother’s Day and graduation gifts and crafts, bird feeders, custom barbecue pits, flowering plants, woodwork ing, jewelry, photography, furniture, and retail favorites.
