Derby done Texas style

BELLVILLE – Hats and hospitality are big in Texas but during the Derby party at High Noon Saloon in Bellville on May 6 was even bigger! The High Noon Saloon was packed for the second year in a row with a Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Party. The band was adorable and the saloon was full of good music and lots of food, mint juleps and laughter.

T he event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Austin County, which offers after-school and summer programs to area youth. Along with sipping mint juleps and enjoying the band and race, eventgoers enjoyed supporting a worthy cause that helps children reach their potential in a safe, supportive environment.
