La Grange sprinter Austen Diggs has put the entire country on notice with his numbers on the track throughout the entire year. Diggs has competed in national tournaments and has done wonders for La Grange track during his tenure. In last weekend’s state track meet at the University of Texas, Diggs grabbed a gold medal in the 200 meter dash and a bronze in the 100 meter dash.
He was also on the state qualifying 4x200 relay team that finished fifth, due in large part to him being on the last leg and making up tons of ground. Diggs’ natural speed and will to win surely has college coaches drooling.
