The Austin County Rotary Club is proud to announce that it has been named the Small Rotary Club of the Year for Rotary District 5890. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding contributions made by the Austin County Rotary Club to its community and the Rotary International organization as a whole.
The Small Rotary Club of the Year award is presented annually to a Rotary club with fewer than 40 members that have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to its community, as well as a commitment to the ideals of Rotary International.
The Austin County Rotary Club, which has just 25 members, was chosen for the award from among the 70 small clubs in Rotary District 5890.
'This is a tremendous honor for our club, and it reflects the hard work and dedication of all of our members,' said Jim Smith, President of the Austin County Rotary Club. 'We are deeply committed to serving our community, and we are grateful for the recognition and support of our fellow Rotarians in District 5890.'
The Austin County Rotary Club has a long history of service to its community, including supporting local schools, promoting literacy, and providing assistance to those in need. 'We are thrilled to see the Austin County Rotary Club receive this well-deserved recognition,' said Ken King, District Governor of Rotary District 5890. 'Their commitment to service and their dedication to Rotary's mission of 'Service Above Self' is an inspiration to all of us in the Rotary community.'
The Austin County Rotary Club will be formally recognized for its achievements at the Rotary District 5890 conference, which was held last week in Fort Worth.
