AC Livestock Association presents Livestock Rx Antibiotics and Vaccine program

CAT SPRING – “Rx Antibiotics & Vaccines for Livestock” will be the program for the 73rd annual meeting of the Austin County Livestock Association. Dr. Peter Wunderlich will be the speaker. The meeting will be held at the Cat Spring Agricultural Society Hall on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

CAT SPRING — “Rx Antibiotics & Vaccines for Livestock” will be the program for the 73rd annual meeting of the Austin County Livestock Association. Dr. Peter Wunderlich will be the speaker. The meeting will be held at the Cat Spring Agricultural Society Hall on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

There will be a program for two hours of CEU credit – onehour L&R and one hour IPM. This program will be from 3 to 5 p.m. with registration from 2:30 to 3 p.m. There will be a fee of $25 which will include a meal and membership in the association. Persons planning to attend this program for CEU credit should inform the Austin County Agricultural Extension Office at (979) 865-2072.

Registration for the annual meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the meal of barbecue beef and pork will start at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Wunderlich will make his presentation after the meal followed by a short business meeting

and door prizes.

Included in the official busi ness meeting is the election of four directors to serve for the next three years. Directors up for re-election are Glenn Brandt, Randall Tipp, Malcolm Dittert, and Jim Gregar.

Also, three outstanding youths who will receive $1000 scholarships will be recognized.

Persons unable to attend the annual meeting may send their dues to Secretary/Treasurer Randall Tipp at 759 Old Columbus
