The Weimar High School softball team swept Milano High School and held them scoreless in both outings by results of 2-0 and 5-0. Weimar has a really good chance to make it back to states for the second year in a row and are led by head coach Roger Maupin and Colorado State softball commit Reagan Wick.
Wick is a left-handed pitcher on the team who throws fast and also possess a wicked change up to keep hitters off balance.
As long as Wick and crew are healthy, the Lady Cats are likely to find themselves back in Austin for the state tournament, as Weimar knows how to put the bat on the ball also.
