SAN MARCOS - Bulldogs baseball secured another playoff win May 19 at Rattlesnake Field in San Marcos as Titan Targac pitched another stellar outing with no earned runs allowed in a 5-0 result. Flatonia provided support for Targac with their bats to secure the win.
Flatonia scored their first run in the second win ning when Uriel Manzano drove in Reese Ramirez on a sacrifice fly to make it 1-0.
The Bulldogs next run came on a shot to left field from sophomore Henri Vincik. Ramirez then hit a rocket to the left field wall in the top of fifth inning to put the score at 4-0. In Flatonia's final at bat, senior Dayton Cliffe walked, Camden Bosl reached on an error, and Cliffe scored on a pass ball for their final run.
Targac proceeded to strike out the side in the seventh and pitch a complete game shut out for a 5-0 victory.
