COLUMBUS - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office in Columbus will offer summer classes. The Leather Making Class will be held at the Colorado County Extension office at 316 Spring St. in Columbus starting June 19- 20 and 26-27. The classes will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a maximum availability of 10 students. Students will learn how to make a leather picture frame. A Sew What 4-H Summer Camp will occur from June 14 through June 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Colorado County Sewing Lab at 316 Spring St. in Columbus. Participants will learn to use sewing terminology, thread a needle, choose threads, sew a straight stitch, sew a button, use a pattern, use sewing tools and tie a knot.
