The Columbus Chamber of Commerce staff, Shelley Janik and Janet Hollmann, Robert and Katherine Henneke and their son Chad present the stone marker for the Time Capsule.

Robert Henneke, who donated the granite marker for the 1973 marker and the 2023 marker, was present for both burials. Hen - neke's grandson also was a part of one of the fifth-grade classes to be able to put items in the new capsule to be opened in 2073.

The time capsule was sealed and put in the ground on May 24 in the exact location as the 1973 time capsule. Finding the capsule in 2073 should be easier as it was not placed as deep.
