Car crash leaves minor structural damage

They don’t build buildings like they used to make them. And they sure don’t build cars like they used to, either. A vehicle driven by Jean Spence of New Ulm, jumped the curve at 1235 Bowie Street on May 22 and smashed into a building being renovated. Jean Spence was taken to the hospital by Colorado County EMS.

The old doctor’s offices stood the test of time, and the impact of a new model SUV and the building won. There was minor structural damage to the building’s front column and a large pot plant at Dewberry’s was broken
