ROUND ROCK — The Banner Press Newspaper attended the Texas Press Association Conference June 1 through 3 at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock.
The annual conference attracts newspapers from all over Texas. The Banner Press placed second in the Feature Photography Division and fourth in the Headlines Writing Division.
The Banner Press recently brought home Honorable Mention for Humorous Column at the Gulf Coast Press Association and first place in Headline Writing, third place in Feature Photos and fourth place in Humorous Column Writing at the South Texas Press Association.
