SCHULENBURG — One of America's foremost Nature-Print artists, Dinah Bowman is an artist from Portland, Tex- as who has worked in Gyotaku, or fish printing, for more than 50 years.

She travels with research vessels and records fish in this ancient Japanese art form. Her work is found in the Smithso- nian and on the walls of fishermen and fisherwomen worldwide! You can discover her fish prints and botanicals at ARTS Gorman Gallery. Amanda Danning, the Artist Liaison for ARTS, is a Columbus-based forensic sculptor who has done work for the Smithsonian Institution, the Sam Houston Memorial Museum in Huntsville, and the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum in Houston.

Dinah Bowman's Art of Gyotaku “Following the Fish from Alaska to Amazon” is the current exhibit at ARTS Gorman Gallery at 1201 Kessler Ave. in Schulenburg.

The show runs now through July 8. Be sure to visit the Eagle Lake alligator.
