SCHULENBURG — Schulen- burg police officers responded to the Schulenburg Dairy Queen for a report of a vehicle driving recklessly that was currently at the Dairy Queen location on Dec. 21, 2022, around 3 p.m. Officers found the vehicle and a sole occupant. While speaking with the occupant, an odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from the vehicle resulting in a probable cause search.
Officers recovered 50 grams of THC gummies and a usable amount of marijuana. Deborah Palmer-Hartman, 60, of Texas City, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of marijuana.
