PFLUGERVILLE - La Grange High School Band members took away six medals for their perfor- mances May 27 at the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest in Pflugerville.
Soloists Trey Dalton, Percussion, Jose Estrada, Trumpet, Joshua Lit - tle and Percussion received the UIL Music State Gold Medal. Silver medalists were Westin Smith, Euphonium, Gabriel Vega, Percussion and Juan Zuniga, Percussion. Five quartets made a Division 2 Excellent rating.
