COLUMBUS — Colorado County Commissioners Court declared National Garden Week for June 4 - 10.
At the regular commissioner's court meeting on May 22, Judge Ty Prause read aloud the proclamation and said to Columbus Garden Club members who were present, 'Thank you for all you do around the courthouse and everywhere.'
Velma Harrington stood and introduced the new Columbus Garden Club president, Janet Johnson, and received the proclamation.
