Schulenburg Shorthorn Band marches on Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Schulenburg Shorthorn Band recently traveled to Washington, D.C. While there, the band visited and laid a wreath at the Texas Column of the World War II Memorial in honor of those Texans who made the ultimate sacrifice during WWII. The band marched down Constitution Avenue in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.

The band students explored the Smithsonian museums, tour the monuments, visit the national archives, see the Whitehouse and explore the city.
