Columbus 2025 quarterback Adam Schobel has chosen to further his football career beyond high school and commit to the Baylor University football team. Schobel is a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, but had a four-star composite ranking and is the 20th ranked quarterback in the country among 2025 recruits.
Schobel made his announcement via Twitter last Sunday, June 11, and was on track to receive a bunch more offers before committing to Baylor. The Bears program must have impressed Schobel tremendously as he still has his junior and senior years of high school to play. No matter the other offers Schobel received and was going to receive, Baylor has a solid division one program that’s close to home.
