EAGLE LAKE - The 25th Annual Eagle Lake Fireworks Show will be held Sunday, July 3, beginning at 9:15 p.m., at the tra- ditional Calhoun Road location west of town about a quarter of a mile from Hwy 90A in Eagle Lake.
This year's event celebrates 25 years of big blasts, loud booms and spectacular displays. Everyone is invited, admission is free and ample parking is available on both sides of Calhoun Road. Organizers encourage fans to arrive early and emphasize, "It's going to be a blast."
As in the past, this patriotic tra dition is organized, produced and directed by local volunteers who donate time and effort to present this event to the community.
The display is funded solely by generous donations from individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the area; every penny collected goes directly toward purchasing fireworks.
