COLUMBUS — Three local ladies, Christine McBride, Lori Meyer and Sherry Tucker, joined together to bring a new upscale restaurant and wine bar to an old hotel near downtown Columbus. Their purchase of the Hotel Colorado on 920 Milam sets the stage for a food and wine adventure which will be named The Magnolia Society at the Hotel Colorado.
Well-known Chef and Restauranteur Charles Clark of Houston will lend his credentialed hands to set up a menu second to none in Columbus and may even bring the restaurant's first food popup. Fine foods deserve fine wine
and Casey Barber, the founder of Rose Gold Rosé, will provide her award-winning wine to compliment the meal or to enjoy solo. The Tasting Panel Magazine describes her wine as “Complex and elegant, the mineral tonality is the soul of this outstanding rosé.”
The Magnolia Society at the Hotel Colorado plans to open for the Magnolia Festival in May. The restaurant will be open to the general public. Upstairs will be private membership only with many benefits of being a member.
