COLUMBUS — The Colorado County Senior Connections group gathered together once again on June 21 at the Stafford Opera House in Columbus to have fun, play games and eat.
This free event is held every first and third Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stafford Opera House. It is open to anyone 55 years and older.
Initially, the group was set up for 65 and older. However, because of requests for those under 65, we have opened it up to 55plus.
If you are getting AARP marketing material, you are probably old enough.
The senior connections group is open to everyone in the Colorado County area. Plans are already underway to open centers in Eagle Lake and Weimar.
The group will also have bus outings, several dances throughout the year and educational seminars.
