Hendrix Industries cuts ribbon with Sealy Chamber

SEALY - Hendrix Industries, a marble top manufacturing plant, joined the ranks of the Greater Sealy Area Chamber of Commerce members on June 23 at their facilities located at 2900 FM 3538 in Sealy. Hank Vu, owner and CEO of Hendrix Industries, was surrounded by family, friends and co-workers. State representatives and local county and city officials joined in the ceremony proceedings.

Blue Blazer Johnny Bonaccorso, an Sealy Economic Development Corporation board member and employee of Citizens State Bank and Sealy Cham- ber Executive Director Chelsea Humes served as chamber representatives. Austin County Judge Tim Lapham and Sealy Mayor Carolyn Bilski were speakers as well as Sealy City Manager Kimbra Hill.

Hendrix Director of Manufacturing Ryan Dubois said the facility is about six weeks from official manufacturing. There are about 40 employees that are helping to work out the bugs. When op erations reach their potential, he anticipates the workforce to be about 150.
