EEA (Extension Education Association) of Austin County, which is a direct part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will host their annual barbeque fundraiser in July!
Proceeds will support their work and projects in the community for 2023-24. The fundraiser is being coordinated by Judy Schulz and Doris Glenewinkel of Bleiblerville EEA. The event will be held on Wednesday, July 19. Tickets can be purchased from the extension office at 800 E Wendt St. in Bellville, as well as from EEA club members. Get your tickets quickly. The plates are $15. Funds will support local non-profit charities, as well as educational programs, which bring awareness to the field of Family and Consumer Sciences. The group's mission is to work with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to strengthen and enrich families through educational programs, leadership, development, and community. This fundraiser is just one of many ways that EEA enjoys reaching out to the community it serves.
