The Fayette County Extension office will host a CPR-First Aid Workshop on Saturday, Aug. 12, which will be conducted by Kim Sodek, Public Health Nurse TDSHS Region 6/5S.
The event will be held at the Fayette Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Lane in Room 104 in La Grange from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will receive First Aid and CPR certification cards at the end of the course.
The cost of the workshop is $40 and will be limited to the first paid 25 registrants. The deadline to register is Monday, Aug. 7.
Many professions require its employees to know First Aid and CPR. However, parents of young ones may benefit from knowing the basics of this course.
