Come to find out that San ta Clause is very friendly and jovial, not the six-foot mean old guy with a beard who had a little too much egg nog and threatened to carry off us kids at Grandma and Grandpa Jones’ house.
Oh, and he carried a big stick to beat you into submission.

However, your favorite candy bar went up in price, and the candy company reduced its size.
Life is full of surprises. Like, when you are free and single in high school and party like there is no tomorrow. Then you look up, and standing at the band bus’s back door is the love of your life.
Life is full of surprises. Like, when you find out you are hav - ing your first child and sudden ly realize it’s going to cost over $70,000 to raise the child in the 1980s. You have another one. But you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Life is full of surprises. Like, when you have had a GTO and a Corvette. Then you have to sell the Corvette because you have two kids who can't fit in the back area of the Vette. That’s okay because a Monza is just as cool.
Life is full of surprises. Like, when you turn 68 and realize that you now listen to your favorite songs playing as elevator music remakes.
Then your wife surprises you with a huge birthday sign out front of the office, FB postings about your birthday, and being sung to by your kids and grandkids and you suddenly realize all this couldn’t have happened without the hand of God, His Grace and His Mercy.
Psalm 90:14 - “Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we’ll skip and dance all the day long.”
