As volleyball season approaches, there are certain teams in the area that have winning formula and are worth noting for evaluation, and La Grange volleyball fits right in that category. The Lady Leopards had a very talented bunch in 2022 with players such as University of Louisiana at Lafayette volleyball commit Maddi Fritz and middle hitter Camille Gonzalez.
The two seniors were essential to La Grange’s success last year with a 27-20 overall record and 11-2 bout in district play, but they’ll still have talents like senior Haylie Cooper and and sophomore Kylie Trlicek. Under the great volleyball mind of head coach Leslie Coltrain, La Grange has established a winning culture that is likely to show again starting in mid August.
