Lights, camera, action! Don’t break a leg!

The Fayette County Community Theatre group is set for an encore presentation of the Great Gatsby when it comes alive on stage Saturday, Feb. 11 at teh Stafford Opera House in Co lumbus. It's 1922, and the tragic story of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, his youthful love and pursuit of a wealthy young woman, Daisy Buchanan, plays out as he seeks the American Dream. Set in the Jazz Age of New York, the third novel by F. Scott Fitz gerald tells the story of love, lust and murder among the new rich among gaudy parties and even gaudier showing of wealth.

There are only 70 individual tickets left to see this spectacular show.

Columbus native Brandon Theut will be playing Tom Buchanan.

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce has been presenting major events in Columbus in honor of Columbus 200 year birthday in 2023.

The grand finale will be the Mag - nolia Festival planned for May 19 and 20.

T he lead up to the Magnolia Festi val has kept Columbus citizens energized. The chamber wants everyone to stay tuned for more exciting events.
