Already the sounds of the school bell ringing is in the notso- distant future. To get ready for the kids to be ready for the first bell of the school year, a Back to School Bash will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eagle Lake Community Center, 100 North Walnut Ave.in Eagle Lake.
The community center will be filled with fun, prizes and school supplies and brought to you by Amerigroup.
The event will have vision checks, screenings, health assessments, hygiene products, resources and education. There will be door prizes and snow cones. A parent must accompany the child to participate in the screenings.
