Feathers, Furs, and Farming – Advice on Public and Private Hunting Lands

WEIMAR – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Austin and Colorado counties is partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife to host a Feathers, Furs and Farming program on Friday, Aug. 11.

WEIMAR — Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Austin and Colorado counties is partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife to host a Feathers, Furs and Farming program on Friday, Aug. 11.

The focus of this program will center around Advice on Public and Private Hunting Lands. Topics covered will include: Hunting Safety and Laws; Navigating Hunting Leases – Do’s and Don’ts; Public Hunting Opportunities in Texas; and Ask the Game Warden.

Our speakers include personnel from Texas Parks and Wildlife, a practicing attorney with a passion for helping landowners navigate hunting leases, and a local Game Warden.

For the session on asking the game warden, we encourage attendees to submit their questions to either the Austin or Colorado County Extension office prior to the event.

The event will be held at the Weimar Civic Center located at 1754 IH-10 in Weimar. Registrafor tion will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 1:30 p.m. and concluding at 5 p.m.

The cost of attendance is $20 per person or $15 per couple.
