COLORADO COUNTY - Michelle Lowrance took the reigns as the Colorado County Auditor on Jan. 1. Lowrance replaces Raymie Kana who retired after 30 years as the county auditor.
Lowrance, a Marquis Who’s Who 2022 alumni, is a proactive, results-oriented, profitability-focused professional. Her experience in technology integration, policy establishment and process development benefit the county with her entrepreneurial mindset in both financial and operational business objectives.
She has experience in working with both state and federal contracts and public businesses from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
Lowrance earned her CPA designation status in Texas in 1996. She completed her BBA in Accounting at Texas Tech University, Rawls College of Business, her Executive Master of Business Ad ministration and earned several other certifications during her accounting career.
