Round Top-Carmine volleyball has had a ton of success in recent years and has been on the cusp of a state tournament birth. They’ve had the personnel, but they’ve also had great coaching from head coach Catie Carney.
Carney finds ways to win big games, like last year’s extra set win at home vs Fayetteville for example. She’s also a players coach who seems to have great relationships with all her players. In terms of those competing on the court, the Cubettes return senior Maggie Salinas, a multisport athlete who brought great leadership last year as an upperclassmen and should be expected to do the same in her senior stint.
With good coaching and team chemistry, Round Top-Carmine volleyball will continue to open eyes.
