The Flatonia High School baseball team went on a nice run last season and there’s no reason why they can’t have the same season, if not better, next spring. While the Bulldogs graduate eight seniors, they’ll have returners such as incoming juniors Beck Zimmerman (catcher) and Titan Targac (pitcher).
This dynamic duo has natural baseball ability and Targac is already committed to Texas A&M baseball for 2025. Zimmerman also has college baseball potential with his skill behind the plate and at the plate on offense.
Flatonia will lose a bunch of upperclassmen, but the young guns such as Zimmerman and Targac will keep the Bulldogs afloat on the diamond at the very least.
