MULLINS PRAIRIE — Just outside La Grange at Farm-to-Market Road 155 and Mullins Prairie Loop, burglars broke into the Mullins Prairie Store and church.

Early Tuesday morning a video captured burglars wearing ski masks entering the Mullins Prairie Store and making off with beer, wine and liquor.

Later that evening, it was discovered the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church’s glass door and several windows had been broken.

Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies found the church to be ransacked. No surveillance video was available on the church but it is believed the two breakins may be related. Investigator Angela Lala is investigating both burglaries. Nothing was taken from the church but the thieves may have been looking for money and none was found at the church.

A black Dodge Charger was seen in the area.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Of- fice asks the public if they have any information about these burglaries to contact the sheriff's office at 979-9685856. The sheriff's office reports they have a lead on the suspects for these burglaries.
