SCHULENBURG — If you have never been to the Schulenburg Festival and Rodeo now is the time to get the kiddos, load them up in the back of the truck and get over to the park and sit a spell.
The fun kicks off at Wolters Park on Friday, Aug. 4 with entertainment by Jacob Stelly and Cory Morrow, Saturday, Aug. 5 with the Texas Sundown Band, Tracy and Resendis, Texas Unlimited Band and William Clark Green.
On Sunday, Aug. 6 at the park, the Texas Unlimited Band and the Dujka Brothers wind it up while the festival winds down for 2023.
The festival will feature all its fun activities for the kids and the young at heart.
There will be the traditional chili cookoff and the rodeo with cowboys and some mutton bustin’ throughout the festival.
Billed as the National Party of Texas, the Schulenburg Festival lives up to its moniker.
