Advice on Public and Private Hunting Lands

Texas A&M AgriLife Exten- sion Offices of Austin and Col orado Counties are partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife to host a Feathers, Furs, and Farming program on Aug. 11. The focus of this program will center around Advice on Public and Private Hunting Lands. Topics covered will include Hunting Safety and Laws; Navigating Hunting Leases – Do’s and Don’ts; Public Hunting Opportunities in Texas; and Ask the Game Warden. Our speakers include personnel from Texas Parks and Wildlife, a practicing attorney with a passion for helping landowners navigate hunting leases, and a local game warden. For the session on Ask the Game Warden, we encourage attendees to submit their questions to either the Austin or Col- orado County Extension Office prior to the event.

The event will be held at the Weimar Civic Center located at 1754 IH-10, Weimar, TX 78962. Registration will be from 1 1:30 p.m. The program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. Cost of attendance is $15 per person or $20 per couple.
