Schulenburg High School football is looking to bounce back after going winless last season and the player with the keys to lead the comeback charge is none other than senior quarterback Tyler Ryba. Ryba is arguably the best athlete at Schulenburg with his speed, quickness, and pure athleticism.
Ryba is also the best player on the basketball team and he brings a strong dual-threat option to the football team. The Shorthorns also have new leadership in first- year head coach Luke Hobbs, who previously was the offensive coordinator under Matt Schobel at Columbus High School. The chemistry between Hobbs and Ryba will be something to keep an eye on and a changed look could be what Schulenburg needs to get back to their winning ways.
