KIRKLAND, Wash. — The Greater Sealy Little League softball team has clinchJuly 30, 11-1 vs Latin America, then won their second game, July 31, 15-0 against Europe-Africa.
The tournament goes until Aug, 5 at Everest Park in Kirkland, Wash., and is being televised on ESPN+.
Sealy is representing the Southwest Region and is led by manager Katy Grigar and coach Jason Kainer. Players include Eden Diemer, Chloe Reynolds, Cadie Neu, Nathaly Velazquez, Jacie Kainer, Karly Kram, Kara Kram, Kimberlee Aguirre, Ava Carr, Jade Barton, Avery Grigar and Julissa Olvera, If Sealy continues this pace, there is a good chance they’ll be bringing a world series trophy back to the tri-county area.
