Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on July 18, deputies took reports of a burglary at the Mullins Prairie Store and vandalism that occurred at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Both cases were forwarded to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
While investigators began working on each case, they received information on the identity of one of the suspects in the burglary of the Mullins Prairie Store.
Investigators located and interviewed the subject who admitted to taking part in both the burglary and the vandalism of the church.
